Kateryna Kalitenko, Head of the Department for Organizing Educational Activities and Ensuring the Quality of Education of the Student-Cadet Council of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), took part in the 10th Congress of the Ukrainian Student League, which was held in Lviv.

The first day of the event took place in the courtyard of the Lviv City Council, where, after participant registration, the official opening of the Congress was held. Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi addressed the student community with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance of youth leadership, students’ active civic engagement, and the role of young people in the reconstruction and development of Ukraine. The participants were also welcomed by Mykyta Kucherov, Head of the Executive Board of the Ukrainian Student League.

Over the course of three days, representatives of higher education institutions from all regions of Ukraine took part in trainings, panel discussions, educational sessions, and practical workshops dedicated to the development of student self-government, leadership competencies, effective communication, and the implementation of youth initiatives.
Participation in the Congress provided the DSUIA representative with an opportunity to exchange experience with student self-government leaders from other higher education institutions, learn about successful practices in implementing youth projects, and establish new partnerships.
The acquired knowledge and experience will contribute to the further development of student self-government at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) and the implementation of new initiatives aimed at improving the quality of the educational process and strengthening student engagement.
