The training camp for newly enrolled cadets is underway at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. First-year cadets are acquiring basic knowledge and practical skills necessary for further studies and professional activities in units of the National Police of Ukraine.

The cadets study the fundamentals of mine safety, the classification of explosive objects and their identifying features, as well as the procedures to follow when such objects are discovered.
Tactical medicine is an important component of the training camp. Cadets learn the fundamentals and principles of providing first aid in combat conditions and emergency situations, including practicing the MARCH algorithm.

During firearms training, first-year cadets study safety measures for handling firearms, their structure and technical specifications, as well as the tactical and technical characteristics of firearms used by the National Police of Ukraine.
Instructors from the Department of Firearms Training introduced the cadets to small arms, their tactical and technical characteristics, the operating principles of their mechanisms, and safety rules during shooting.

The training camp enables newly enrolled cadets to systematically master the basic elements of professional training, develop practical skills, and adapt to the requirements of cadet education.
