The measures are organized by the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Employees of the National Police of Ukraine seconded to DSUIA take part in the classes according to the program of advanced training of police officers seconded to higher education institutions that belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Within the framework of the measures for advanced training, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Valentyn Liudvik and Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure Volodymyr Fedchenko conducted a lecture on the topic “Newest priorities in the conditions of modern security risks: criminal-legal and criminal-procedural aspects”.
In addition, the Department of Special Physical Training conducted a class during which the participants practiced combined defense against blows with hands and feet, applying blocks and painful techniques.
Similar measures contribute to increasing the level of professional and physical preparedness of police officers, improving practical skills in the application of security measures and expanding knowledge regarding modern approaches to criminal-legal and criminal-procedural support of official activity.
