Trainees of group 2/26 of the CSPT “Police Academy” of DSUIA held a meeting dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine. During the meeting, the trainees prepared a presentation dedicated to the history of the formation of independent Ukraine, the significance of the state holiday, as well as the modern Ukrainian underground movement, which is a manifestation of the resistance and struggle of Ukrainians for their state.
During the event, attention was focused on the importance of preserving historical memory, a respectful attitude to state symbols and the awareness of the personal responsibility of every citizen for the future of Ukraine. Special significance was given to the events of modern history, the heroism of Ukrainians and the resilience of society in the conditions of the struggle for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state.
The conduct of such thematic measures is an important component of the national-patriotic education of trainees, contributes to the formation of civic consciousness, respect for state symbols, the preservation of historical memory and the awareness of the high price of the independence of Ukraine.
