The measures are organized by the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Participation in the classes is taken by employees of the National Police of Ukraine, seconded to DSUIA, according to the program of professional development of police officers, seconded to institutions of higher education, which belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In particular, by the department of special physical training a class was conducted, during which the participants practiced combined defense against the infliction of blows with arms and legs.
Under the guidance of the senior lecturers of the department, police lieutenant colonel Volodymyr Rohalskyi and police major Serhii Petrenko, the participants of the event updated their knowledge regarding the application of blocks and painful techniques.
Such classes contribute to the increase of the level of physical and professional preparedness of employees of the National Police of Ukraine, the improvement of skills of personal safety and effective response in complex situations, provide the opportunity to consolidate practical skills of application of techniques of physical influence during the performance of official tasks.
