Cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the competitions in practical shooting with a pistol held on 6 September 2026.
The participants competed in shooting with a pistol at stationary and moving targets, used different positions, and were limited in time. Exercises in shooting from a place and in motion were also performed.
According to the results of the performances, representatives of DSUIA won prize places in the categories “Ladies” and “Juniors”.
In the “Ladies” category, the winner of the competitions was Anna Halei, the third place was taken by Karyna Tserpish.
Among the juniors, the first place was won by Nikita Nikitenko, the second — by Nikita Solokha, the third — by Nazar Domashenko. Vadym Matskevych became the fourth.
Participation in the competitions contributes to the improvement of skills in handling firearms, the development of speed, accuracy and concentration, as well as the increase of the level of professional training of future police officers.
