Petanque is a strategic game for accuracy and coordination and a way of supporting physical activity and psychological relief. This sport, which is gaining popularity among veterans around the world, has become another instrument of physical and psychological rehabilitation, formation of team interaction and active leisure.
Petanque captivated the veterans of DSUIA: they repeatedly took part in competitions in this sport and won prize places at interregional competitions and the All-Ukrainian tournament.
Such events contribute to active rehabilitation and social adaptation of veterans, popularization of adaptive sports, formation of a healthy lifestyle and further integration of the defenders of Ukraine into civil society.
