The faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine of DSUIA conducted an online career guidance meeting for students of Lyceum No. 2 of the Vasylkivka settlement council.
The deputy dean of the faculty, police lieutenant colonel Ihor Shevchenko, took part in the event.
The lyceum students were told about the advantages of studying at a university of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prospects of career growth and the peculiarities of the profession of a law enforcement officer.
Also, the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and the specifics of training future investigators were presented in detail.
Special attention was paid to the conditions of admission, the educational process, practical development of skills at specialized training grounds and the prospects of further service in law enforcement bodies.
Such events contribute to the early professional self-determination of young people, the formation of a conscious choice of profession, the increase of interest in law enforcement activity and the deepening of understanding of the specifics of studying at DSUIA.
