At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, inquirers and investigators of the National Police of Ukraine, authorized to investigate criminal offenses involving children, underwent short-term professional development.

The listeners represented Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk regions.
The director of the institute of postgraduate education and distance learning of DSUIA, police lieutenant colonel Anatolii Kolotik emphasized the significance of the professional training of police officers, which determines their level as specialists. He noted that it is precisely investigators and inquirers who play a decisive role in establishing the truth in every case, especially when it concerns crimes related to children.
The professional development program was successfully completed by thirty listeners, who mastered the main problematic issues of criminal procedural legislation, normative-legal acts in the sphere of counteraction to domestic violence, as well as current aspects of prevention and counteraction to offenses committed against children.
After passing the comprehensive final exam, all participants received the relevant certificates.
