Cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for the Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine took part in training as part of non-formal education programs.
During the course, participants learned about the fundamentals of digital literacy and current threats in the online environment. In particular, they explored ways to protect personal data and counter phishing, cyberbullying and other common types of cyber threats.
A separate module focused on practical aspects of digital security in professional activities, including the rules for handling official information, the safe use of digital resources and the protection of data that may be processed while carrying out official duties. Upon completion of the training, the cadets were awarded certificates.
The knowledge and skills gained will help future law enforcement officers identify potential cyber threats in a timely manner and use modern technologies responsibly. At the same time, such training complements the cadets’ professional education and helps develop the competencies required to work in an increasingly digitalized public administration environment.
