The meeting was conducted by the listeners of group 2/26 of the CSIPT “Academy of Police” of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The listeners prepared and presented the presentation “Babyn Yar: memory that must not be silent”, dedicated to the tragic events that took place in the well-known tract during the Nazi occupation of Kyiv.
Also, the participants watched the film “Babyn Yar – a tragedy that forever changed Ukraine”. It helped to understand in more detail the historical events and their causes.
Such events give the opportunity to deepen knowledge about the tragic pages of the history of Ukraine, to comprehend the scale of the tragedy of Babyn Yar, to preserve historical memory and to form a respectful attitude towards the victims of the crimes of the Nazi regime.
