For cadets of the 3rd year of the faculty of training specialists for units of criminal police of the National Police of Ukraine, a binary class was conducted within the framework of mastering the discipline “Documentation of administrative offenses related to corruption”. The event was organized by the department of administrative law and process.
The operative authorized officer of the department of strategic investigations in Dnipropetrovsk region of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine, police lieutenant Bohdan Voloshyn, took part in the event.
During the meeting, Bohdan Voloshyn told the cadets about the powers of police bodies regarding the detection and processing of administrative offenses related to corruption. The speaker paid special attention to the issues of qualification and documentation of offenses concerning the violation of the requirements of financial control, as well as non-compliance with the requirements for the prevention and settlement of a conflict of interest.
A separate practical block was the filling out of procedural documents for administrative proceedings. Bohdan Voloshyn clearly showed the cadets what exactly the case consists of, which is subsequently sent to court, and how to correctly form documents.
At the end of the meeting, the speaker shared experience from his own official activity, analyzed several real cases from the practical work of the department of strategic investigations and drew attention to typical mistakes made during the collection of the evidence base.
It was also emphasized that strict observance of procedural norms during the drafting of materials is the key to the successful consideration of the case in a court session.
The event was conducted taking into account security requirements.
