Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took the Oath of a police officer

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, solemn events took place on the occasion of the first-year students taking the Oath of an employee of the National Police of Ukraine.

After the performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine, all those present honored the memory of the fallen Heroes with a moment of silence and laid flowers at the Memorial to the fallen defenders of Ukraine.

The cadets were greeted by:

● Dmytro Finashyn, advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs on veteran policy, Hero of Ukraine;

● Roman Butko, head of the Department of Criminal Analysis of the National Police of Ukraine, police general of the third rank;

● Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration – head of the regional military administration, police general of the third rank;

● Oleksandr Myrhorodskyi, person temporarily performing the duties of the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region, police colonel;

● Denys Shleha, head of the Central Territorial Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, brigadier general;

● Yurii Koretskyi, head of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations in Dnipropetrovsk region, major general of the civil protection service;

● Oleksandr Morhunov, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region, police general of the third rank;

● Yurii Yandulskyi, deputy of the Dnipro city mayor for issues of activity of executive bodies regarding law enforcement activity;

● Ihor Mahdalina, person temporarily performing the duties of the rector of DSUIA.

The right to read out the text of the Oath was granted to the cadet of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, police private Oleh Ovcharuk. The first-year students repeated the words of the Oath, confirming their readiness to serve the Fatherland with honor and dignity.

More than 100 cadets received police tokens, which were solemnly attached to their uniforms by the honorary guests.

The event ended with a creative gift from the cadets and applicants of higher education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
