The meeting was dedicated to the prospects for the development of veteran sports in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular on the basis of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a meeting took place of the advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on veteran policy, Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Finashyn with the advisor to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region on veteran policy Ivan Zmiievskyi, the assistant to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region on veteran policy Oleksandr Bilozertsev and the assistant to the rector of DSUIA for work with veterans Oleksandr Hryshchuk.
The vice-rector of DSUIA, police colonel Ihor Kovalov, also took part in the event.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the development of veteran sports in Dnipropetrovsk region and in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in particular on the basis of the university. Special attention was paid to existing initiatives, perspective directions of work and proposals regarding the further expansion of opportunities for veterans.
Dmytro Finashyn shared his vision of the development of veteran policy in Ukraine, his own thoughts regarding future initiatives and practical recommendations on planning further work.
The meeting became a platform for the exchange of experience and the development of further steps aimed at the development of veteran sports, the expansion of opportunities for the participation of veterans in sports events and the strengthening of veteran policy in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
