The person temporarily performing the duties of the rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina took part in the event at the Dnipro Lyceum of security orientation and national-patriotic education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The solemn event on the occasion of the Day of Initiation into Lyceum Students at the lyceums of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and military lyceums took place with the participation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhivskyi and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevhenii Khmary.
During the taking of the Lyceum Student’s Oath, the first-year students solemnly swore to love their native land, honor the history of the Ukrainian state, be proud of the culture and language of their people, respect state symbols, adhere to the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, be worthy of the feats of those who stood up for the defense of the Fatherland, as well as to preserve the honor and good name of a lyceum student.
Ihor Mahdalina congratulated the lyceum students on the important event in their lives, emphasized the significance of patriotism, discipline and responsibility in the formation of future defenders of Ukraine, wished them perseverance in study, success in acquiring knowledge and strength to achieve their goals.
Representatives of central executive bodies also joined the celebrations, who congratulated the lyceum students on the beginning of a new stage of study and wished them success and inspiration.
