The event was conducted by the head of the department Krystyna Rezvorovych and the professor of the department Maryna Yunina for cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the main problems of the legal regulation of private legal relations under the conditions of the digitalization of society, as well as possible ways of solving them.
During the discussion, the cadets came to the conclusion that the digitalization of society significantly changes the sphere of private law, creating new opportunities for the realization of civil rights, the conclusion and performance of contracts and the use of digital assets. At the same time, it causes the emergence of new legal challenges in the sphere of ensuring privacy and responsibility for the violation of rights in the digital environment.
Also, the participants noted that modern legislation must ensure a proper balance between the development of digital technologies and the effective protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the participants of private legal relations.
