DSUIA Representatives Conduct Career Guidance Activities for High School Students Across the Region

Teachers and students of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs organized a series of career guidance meetings in both in-person and online formats.

As part of the “Visit Your School” program, Pereshchepyno Lyceum was visited by its graduate, first-year student of the DSUIA Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education, Yaroslav Synekolo¬dezs¬kyi. During a meeting with 11th-grade students, he shared details about the admission process and student life, the advantages and specifics of studying at the university, as well as his impressions of living in a dormitory. Yaroslav answered the high school students’ questions, including those concerning preparatory courses and the stages of the admission campaign.

Representatives of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine held an online meeting with students of Solone Lyceum, highlighting the main advantages of obtaining an education at DSUIA. The event was attended by Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Shevchenko, and cadets.

The lyceum students learned about the specifics of cadet life and the university’s modern facilities, including innovative training grounds, a multimedia shooting range, and sports halls that allow students to practice skills in conditions close to real-life situations. The participants were also informed about the admission procedure, the specifics of the selection process, and career opportunities in the National Police of Ukraine

To mark Lawyer’s Day, Volodymyr Yefimov, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, organized and conducted a legal quiz for 11th-grade students of Dnipro Lyceum No. 57. The high school students answered questions on legal topics, solved legal problems, and tested their knowledge of their rights and responsibilities. The meeting also included a discussion of studying at DSUIA, admission requirements, and career prospects in law and law enforcement.

The university believes that such career guidance campaigns help young people in Dnipropetrovsk region better navigate the world of modern professions and take a confident step toward a future career in law enforcement.
