Before the professional development program began, the trainees met with Anatolii Kolotik, Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel.
Twenty-nine inquiry officers and investigators from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions, who specialize in investigating criminal offenses involving children, began training under a professional development program.

The professional development program covers key issues of criminal procedural legislation, regulatory acts in the field of preventing and combating domestic violence, as well as current aspects of preventing and countering crimes committed against children.
In addition, 22 patrol police officers representing Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions began professional development training at the Unit for Organizing Professional Development and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA.
The law enforcement officers will study the fundamentals of constitutional law, issues related to ensuring human rights and freedoms, as well as principles of partnership-based cooperation with the public. Particular attention will be paid to preparing administrative materials for traffic violations, the procedure for drafting official documents, and ensuring public safety and order during mass events in accordance with the Scandinavian model.
During the briefing, Anatolii Kolotik called on the participants to approach their studies responsibly and emphasized the importance of complying with safety requirements during classes.
Such professional development programs enable National Police of Ukraine personnel to improve their professional competencies, ensuring more effective performance of tasks related to protecting the rights and legitimate interests of children.
