The event was organized by the head of the department of civil-law disciplines and psychology Krystyna Rezvorovych within the framework of the mastering by cadets of the faculty of training specialists for units of criminal police of the National Police of Ukraine of the academic discipline “Civil Procedure”.
The invited speaker was lawyer Stanislav Liflianchyk. The peculiarity of the class was the elaboration of practical situations through the application of the case method.
The cadets analyzed simulated civil cases, determined possible procedural actions, worked with evidence and argued their own legal positions.
Each case required knowledge of the norms of civil procedural legislation and the ability to apply them in a specific situation, as well as the ability to choose the optimal algorithm of actions.
Such a format of training gives the opportunity to practice the skills of legal analysis, argumentation and the adoption of procedural decisions, bringing classroom work closer to the real conditions of professional activity.
