Sniper mastery: military experience during a binary class on fire training at DSUIA

The event was conducted by the department of fire training together with representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine for cadets of the faculty of training specialists for units of criminal police of the National Police of Ukraine. Oleksandr Movchan — a former serviceman of special purpose forces, and now an employee of the university — joined the conduct of the class.

The military veteran shared his experience in firing from the UAR-10 sniper rifle and the assault rifle, and also provided practical advice on improving skills, shooting techniques in extreme conditions and psychological resilience during the performance of combat tasks.

Separately, Oleksandr Movchan emphasized the importance of systematic improvement of skills in handling firearms for future police officers.

Such events give the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with the practical experience of specialists, deepen the professional competences of cadets and improve their readiness to perform official tasks, contribute to the formation of a responsible attitude to the use of weapons and observance of safety measures.
