NEWS

The event was organized by Deputy Director of the Institute Iryna Dmytryshyn to discuss current issues related to student life.

The meeting brought together student group representatives from the first to fourth years of study, academic group advisors and Rodion Zinchenko, Head of the Student Self-Government. Third- and fourth-year students joined the meeting remotely via Zoom.

One of the key items on the agenda was the establishment of a Wall of Fame for the Institute and the University. Participants considered approaches to selecting students to be recognized for their achievements, as well as discussed the number of places available and the criteria for inclusion on the list.

The participants also discussed organizational arrangements for the University’s Open Day, scheduled for late October. They emphasized the importance of involving graduates in the event to promote the University and support career guidance for prospective students.

Special attention was given to the upcoming examination session, which will be held in person. Participants received guidance on what to do if they are unable to attend examinations for valid reasons, including the need to provide documentary evidence of the circumstances. The meeting also addressed student internships across all years of study, the approval of internship placements and the submission of the relevant applications.

More creative initiatives were also discussed, including the continuation of competitions for the best student video and a creative contest to be held on the university’s shelter premises. Participants considered the next organizational steps and ways to encourage students to take part in creative initiatives.

On the occasion of Lawyer’s Day, the participants were wished professional success and further achievements. The issues discussed are expected to contribute to the effective organization of the educational process, support for student initiatives and stronger cooperation between the Institute’s administration and its students.
