Practical Training Sessions at DSUIA: Cadets Practise Drafting Procedural Documents

NEWS

Fourth-year cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for the Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine continue to participate in practical training sessions involving law enforcement professionals.

As part of the course “Drafting Procedural Documents During Pre-Trial Investigations”, the cadets took part in a session led by Vitalii Nikolaichuk, a prosecutor at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office. Together with Viktoriia Rohalska, Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure at DSUIA and Police Major, he discussed with the cadets the specifics of conducting certain investigative (search) actions and applying measures to ensure criminal proceedings during investigations into criminal offences committed under martial law.

Using practical examples, the cadets studied the procedures for conducting identification procedures and carrying out arrests. The session was based on real-life cases drawn from the professional experience of the practitioner. Following the exercises, the cadets drafted the relevant procedural documents.

Such sessions help combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, improve procedural document drafting skills, and prepare future police officers to perform their professional duties during pre-trial investigations.
