The Department of Special Physical Training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues its career guidance activities among young athletes in Dnipro. The latest outreach event took place at the Judo 80 sports club.

The session was conducted by Volodymyr Rohalskyi, Police Lieutenant Colonel and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training at DSUIA. The event focused on opportunities to pursue higher education at the university, career prospects in law enforcement, and ways to combine academic studies with sports.
Holding career guidance events directly at sports clubs helps establish connections with young people who already have a good level of physical fitness, competitive experience, and well-developed skills in discipline, endurance, and self-control. These qualities are important components of the professional training of future law enforcement officers.
Particular attention was paid to opportunities for athletic development while studying at DSUIA. The university provides opportunities to improve physical fitness, practise various sports, join university teams, and participate in sports tournaments and competitions at different levels. This approach enables athletes to continue training, improve their athletic performance, and pursue professional education at the same time.
DSUIA’s cooperation with the city’s sports clubs aims to expand career guidance activities, attract motivated young people to the university, and promote policing as a career among athletes.
