The team of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took second place in the overall standings of the “Battle for Universities” youth sports project, organised by the public organisation Students of Dnipro.
Over several weeks, teams from Dnipro’s higher education institutions competed in six disciplines: kayak racing, orienteering, paintball, military-style training, esports, and bowling.
Each stage presented different challenges, requiring physical endurance, strategic thinking, quick decision-making, and effective teamwork.
Based on the total points earned across all six stages, the DSUIA team secured second place and won silver medals in the competition.
Participation in the project gave cadets an opportunity to demonstrate their athletic skills, leadership qualities, and ability to work effectively as a team. The result highlighted the strong cohesion of the university team and its readiness to take on a wide range of competitive challenges.
Congratulations to the DSUIA team on its achievement. We wish them further success in sport!
