Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues to implement initiatives aimed at raising higher education students’ awareness of anti-corruption legislation requirements.

A session was held for first- and second-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for National Police Criminal Police Units. It was conducted by Alla Sukhina, DSUIA’s authorised anti-corruption officer, as part of the implementation of the University’s Anti-Corruption Programme for 2026–2028.
Participants examined practical aspects of completing asset declarations for police officers authorised to perform the functions of the state or local self-government, as well as preparations for the annual declaration campaign in 2027.
Particular attention was paid to identifying and classifying conflicts of interest, the role of private interests in their occurrence, and preventive measures to avoid violations of anti-corruption legislation. The cadets studied ways to address potential and actual conflicts of interest and examined the types and levels of liability for police officers who fail to comply with the relevant requirements, using practical case studies.
Such activities help foster an anti-corruption culture among future law enforcement officers, deepen their knowledge of current legislation, and develop the skills required to perform their official duties responsibly.
The event was held in compliance with security requirements.
