At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a competition for the best career guidance product took place, the victory in which was won by the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.
The event was organized with the aim of activating career guidance work at the university and increasing the interest of youth in obtaining education at DSUIA. The main task of the competition was the creation of a creative atmosphere, conditions for innovative development and improvement of the system of career guidance and selection of candidates for study, as well as the popularization of departmental education.
Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Law Enforcement Activity of the National Police of Ukraine, the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning, the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education, the faculty of training specialists for units of criminal police of the National Police of Ukraine and the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine joined the participation.
The topics of the competition works were aimed at popularizing the specialties in which the training of applicants of education is carried out in the relevant structural subdivisions of the university. The jury, which included the acting rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina, vice-rector of DSUIA, police colonel Ihor Kovalov and others, evaluated the best career guidance videos, informational printed products and branded souvenirs.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.
Such initiatives contribute to the search for modern and creative approaches to career guidance work, help to meaningfully present the educational opportunities of the university and interest youth in the profession of a law enforcement officer. At the same time, the competition creates conditions for the exchange of experience between structural subdivisions and the improvement of the system of attracting future applicants to DSUIA.
