Applicants of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine visited the sponsored center “Dovira” and joined the work of the center “Vuzlyk Dopomohy”.
During the next visit to the Center for Social Support of Children and Families “Dovira”, the cadets handed over to the institution supplies of drinking water for the needs of the pupils. In addition, the applicants took care of the improvement of the adjacent territory: they cleaned the yard and tidied up around the premises of the institution.
In the workshop of the volunteer headquarters “Vuzlyk Dopomohy”, the future law enforcement officers joined the preparation of materials for the manufacture of camouflage nets. They cut fabric and special ribbons of the necessary sizes and shades, which will subsequently be used for weaving means of camouflage for Ukrainian positions and military equipment at the front.
Such initiatives are not only practical assistance to those who need it, but also an important component of the education of future law enforcement officers. Participation in volunteer projects forms responsibility, indifference, readiness to act for the common good and awareness of personal contribution to the support of society and the state.
