Project activities

Participation in diverse grant projects will allow you to expand your skills and experience in various areas, as well as contribute to the solution of various social problems. It can also assist you in enhancing your understanding and acquiring resources from diverse sources, thereby enhancing and broadening the scope of your initiatives.

There are several benefits to project participants, including the following:

DSUIA participated in four international consortia whose applications were submitted to the HORIZONT competition. These are: “Feminist theories and practice in the context of European education: increasing democracy through the construction of gender eclectic relations,” proposal ID 101061702 FORESEE; “Evolution of political extremism and its impact on modern social – political dialogue”, proposal ID 101095266 “EXPOL”; “Democratic methodologies of a horizontal society: the role of language learning and intercultural communication”, “DEMNOS” proposal ID 101094141.

The ERASMUS+ KA2 project on the development of the potential of higher education, “Implementation of simulation medicine and Scenario-based learning for emergency care in educational process,” SimS proposal ID 101061702, won the competition and received funding. DSUIA passed the European Union validation procedure.

Grant activity

  • The Bulgarian government grants “cooperation for the purpose of development.” The DSUIA was granted funding within the framework of the project to establish a contemporary multimedia shooting range that is actively utilized in the educational process.
  • Grant of the government of the Czech Republic “Cooperation in the Field of Security Development with Ukraine, 2020”. As part of the project “Methodology of Interrogation of Victims Who Are in an Extremely Vulnerable Condition,” four teachers were trained and received trainers’ certificates.
  • A grant from the National Fund of the Scholarship Program of the Government of the Slovak Republic for conducting joint research for scientists of DSUIA and Matej Bel University.
  • Grant of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea “Official Development Assistance” program. The joint project with the Korean National Police University “Acquiring ICT skills during the training of police officers of the Ukrainian National Police” (USD 300,000) was supported by the Government of the Republic of Korea. The project was scheduled to be implemented in 2022.
