The event was held for listeners of the Centre for Primary Professional Training “Police Academy” of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was attended by the head of the human rights compliance sector of Dnipro District Police Department No. 1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, police major Tetiana Morhalenko and senior inspector of the human rights compliance sector, senior police lieutenant Anastasiia Skyba.
Participants discussed key aspects in the sphere of protection of rights and freedoms of citizens, standards of professional activity of police officers and practical algorithms of response to possible violations of human rights.
Special attention was paid to principles of non-discrimination, respect for human dignity, importance of open and correct interaction with the community.
Listeners of the “Police Academy” actively worked on practical tasks in the quest format, asked questions, analysed situations from real service practice and emphasized readiness to apply the acquired knowledge in service activity.
