The “DSUIA-CS2-2026” tournament was held on the basis of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs with the assistance and initiative of the leadership of the higher education institution.
The event was held with the aim of popularizing a healthy lifestyle, developing team interaction, strategic thinking and cyber sports culture among young people.
16 teams from different regions of Ukraine took part in the cyber sports tournament among students of secondary and higher education.
In addition, a team of military veterans of DSUIA took part.
The competitions were held at the modern “Cyber Arena” — a recently equipped specialized space that allows training high-level cyber athletes.
Over four days, the teams competed in the game Counter-Strike 2, demonstrating tactical skill, coordination and speed of decision-making in non-standard game situations.
Two teams reached the final — the Vinnytsia Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after Nazarii Hrynzevych of the MIA, as well as the Dnipro Lyceum 100 “LIDER” of the Dnipro City Council.
The strongest cyber athletes of the tournament were the representatives of the team of the Vinnytsia Lyceum named after Nazarii Hrynzevych of the MIA.
Such events contribute to the formation among young people of team work skills, strategic thinking and a responsible attitude to cyberspace, as well as the popularization of cyber sports as a full-fledged direction of sports and intellectual development.
