Representatives of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs conducted a series of career guidance events in educational institutions of the region, introducing prospective applicants to study opportunities, admission conditions, and prospects for professional development.

Thus, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education, Roman Karpenko, met with senior students of Dnipro Technical and Economic Lyceum No. 61 “Erudit.” During the event, students received detailed information about the structure of the university, educational programs, features of the educational process, and the advantages of obtaining higher education at DDUVS. Particular attention was paid to the conditions of the admission campaign, requirements for applicants, as well as opportunities for further employment in units of the National Police of Ukraine and other areas of law enforcement activity.

Students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about the specifics of studying, practical training, and the daily life of cadets and students. The format of live communication made it possible to provide comprehensive answers and helped future applicants better navigate their choice of educational path.

Another event took place at Pidhorodne Lyceum No. 3 with the participation of Senior Lecturer of the Firearms Training Department of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, Anatolii Natochii. He presented the faculty in detail to the students, introduced admission conditions, specializations, and the specifics of training future law enforcement officers. Of particular interest to the audience was the specialization “Criminal Analysis,” enrollment for which has been opened for the first time in 2026.

Senior students learned about the content of studies in this field, its relevance in modern conditions, and also received examples of practical cases that higher education students work on during classes. This allowed them to better understand the applied nature of training and the prospects for using the acquired knowledge in professional activities.

Conducting such career guidance events contributes to forming a conscious choice of future profession among young people, increases awareness of educational opportunities, and helps establish effective dialogue between the university and prospective applicants.
