Cadets and students of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs won first place at the annual festival of amateur creativity “Student Spring 2026”, which this year was dedicated to the theme “Rhythms of the Dnipro”.
The event united about 250 participants from nine higher education institutions of Dnipro. They competed in vocal, dance, acting genres and stand-up.
The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented at the festival by the participants of the creative movement studio “eSTeD” under the guidance of specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work Olga Kuzina and Iryna Hryhorovych. They presented a bright vocal-choreographic performance “Viynesna”. The main idea of the performance is the realization that those who live in relatively peaceful cities should not forget about the feats and heroism of Ukrainian defenders, who at the cost of their lives give the opportunity to live, study, create and build the future.
The participants of the creative team were supported by the Acting Rector of DSUIA Ihor Magdaliyna and the Rector’s Assistant Volodymyr Kovbasa.
Each higher education institution had to choose a location of the city, about which its representatives told creatively in their performance. DSUIA presented European Square — as a symbolic meeting place, an atmospheric and creative venue of Dnipro.
According to the decision of the jury, the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took first place. Second place was taken by representatives of the Dnipro National University named after O. Honchar, and third place went to students of the National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic”.
Seventy-five percent of the prize fund the winners will transfer to the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
