The events are conducted by the Department of Special Physical Training of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Participation in the seminar-training on the topic: “Peculiarities of teaching educational components (academic disciplines) “Special Physical Training”, “Special Physical Training of Police Officers” (“Physical Training”, “Tactics of Self-Defense and Personal Safety”)” will be taken by scientific and pedagogical (pedagogical) workers of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard of Ukraine.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and honoring the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.
The pro-rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, addressed the participants. He emphasized the importance of effective teaching of future law enforcement officers in the subjects of special physical training, since these disciplines are among the key ones in the educational process of higher education institutions with specific conditions of study.
The participants will consider the topics of sports injuries, pre-medical care, safety techniques in the educational process, means and methods of physical education, classification of techniques during the forceful detention of an offender, organization and methodology of conducting training sessions on the topic “Use of physical force by police officers” and so on.
At the end of the training, the participants will undergo final testing and take part in conducting a trial lesson.
