On the eve of the competition, the team met with the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov.
In May 2026, the athletics (running) championship will be held among higher education institutions that belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The team of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs will be represented by 10 athletes under the guidance of the coach, Police Major Serhii Petrenko.
Representatives of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also take part in the championship: 8 athletes from among the pupils and coach Bohdan Brusenko will defend the name of the institution in the coming days.
During the meeting, Ihor Kovalov noted that DSUIA athletes always demonstrate a decent level, and the team has high potential. He wished the athletes victories, inspiration and perseverance.
