The document of category “B” was presented by the Head of the Department of Automobile Training of the university, military veteran Yevhenii Khokhlov.
Serhii served in the National Guard of Ukraine since 2020. But a year ago he was wounded, as a result of which he has disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The veteran learned about the opportunity to study at the Barrier-Free Driving School of DSUIA while undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Serhii mastered the theory on his own, and acquired practical driving skills under the guidance of experienced instructors of the Barrier-Free Driving School of DSUIA.
The graduate says that at the beginning of training it was scary to drive on public roads, but thanks to the correct, patient and professional approach of the instructors, the veteran gradually gained confidence behind the wheel.
Now, having received the long-awaited document, Serhii plans to purchase a personal car. The man claims: this will provide wide opportunities for work and travel.
