DSUIA Concludes Seminar-Training on Firearms Instruction Methodology

Participants of the event enhanced their professional competencies and received certificates of completion.

Throughout the seminar, academic and teaching staff of higher and vocational education institutions with specific learning conditions worked on modern approaches to organizing the educational process in firearms training.

They improved teaching methodology, focusing on developing trainees’ safe weapon handling skills, training in sniper rifle shooting exercises, and conducting training sessions with 12-gauge shotguns in the context of anti-drone security. Special attention was paid to teaching pistol shooting at metal poppers and the Bianchi setup.

Participants exchanged practical experience, improved their knowledge of conducting classes and shooting exercises, enhanced their pedagogical skills, and mastered new methodological tools for training future law enforcement officers.

At the end of the program, the participants were congratulated by the Vice-Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov. He emphasized the importance of continuous professional development of instructors, highlighted the need to implement modern approaches in specialist training, and wished participants success in applying the acquired knowledge and practical experience in their future professional activities.

At the conclusion of the event, Ihor Kovalov presented the participants with certificates confirming successful completion of the seminar-training.
