The event was organized by the Department of Language Training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs within the National Barrier-Free Week.
The event was dedicated to the resilience, inner strength, and professional dedication of Ukrainian defenders.
Second-year cadets of academic group DR-081-24-2 prepared and presented presentations about servicemen and law enforcement officers who, despite injuries sustained while performing their official duties, went through a difficult rehabilitation process and returned to the ranks of Ukraine’s defenders.
Participants were introduced to real-life stories of courage, resilience, and overcoming life challenges. Special attention was paid to the importance of creating a barrier-free environment, supporting veterans, and assisting people undergoing physical and psychological recovery.
The meeting aimed to foster in future law enforcement officers a deep respect for human dignity, strength of will, and an unwavering commitment to serve society despite any hardships.
