Psychologists of the Psychological Support Unit conducted a training session for third-year cadets.

During the training, cadets gained an understanding of the importance of a coherent and resilient professional identity for preventing emotional burnout, improving the quality and speed of decision-making, and enhancing psychological resilience. Through the use of associative exercises and role-playing tasks, future police officers were encouraged to reflect more consciously on the specific features of their future service.

The final stage of the training involved a constructive group discussion, during which participants conducted a retrospective analysis of the personal changes they had experienced throughout their studies and service. Cadets were able to identify their internal resources more clearly for further professional and personal development.

Head of the Psychological Support Unit Serhii Vyshnevskyi noted that professional identity shapes the moral and legal values of police officers, increasing their resilience and effectiveness in challenging service conditions.
While discussing the training outcomes, cadets emphasized that they now have a clear understanding of the significance of their professional role for society and are consciously prepared to serve in the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine. Psychologist Vladyslav Bidniak added that one of the main objectives of the training was to help cadets integrate all of their accumulated professional experience into a coherent understanding of themselves, enabling them to better assess their abilities, skills, knowledge, and competencies.
