The Open Cup of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in kettlebell sport has concluded in Kyiv, bringing together athletes from educational institutions and units of the MIA system. The competition served as a platform for participants to demonstrate their physical fitness, endurance, and sporting excellence.
Following the results of the tournament, Anastasiia Medviedieva, a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education, secured second place in the women’s weight category over 68 kg. Competing with a 24 kg kettlebell, she completed 58 lifts, earning the silver medal.
The certificate for her prize-winning performance was presented by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Police Colonel Leonid Tymchenko.
The Open Cup of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in kettlebell sport aims to promote physical culture, develop strength sports, and enhance the professional training of representatives of the MIA system. Achieving a podium finish at such a tournament is a significant accomplishment both for the athlete and for the university.
