Before the start of the advanced training program, the pro-rector of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the students.

Thirty inquirers and investigators from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who specialize in the investigation of criminal offenses involving children, began training under the advanced training program.
The advanced training program covers key issues of criminal procedural legislation, normative legal acts in the field of countering domestic violence, as well as current aspects of prevention and counteraction to crimes committed against children.
During the briefing, Ihor Kovalov urged the participants to treat their studies responsibly and emphasized the importance of observing safety requirements during classes.
Such advanced training programs make it possible to improve the professional competencies of employees of the National Police of Ukraine, ensuring higher quality performance of tasks related to the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children.
