At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs the regular graduation of listeners of the Center of Special Professional Training “Academy of Police” took place. The graduates obtained the qualification “Police officer of units of police of special purpose”.
The event began with the performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine and honoring the memory of the fallen defenders with a minute of silence.
The vice-rector of DSUIA, police colonel Ihor Kovalov, the deputy commander of the battalion of police of special purpose of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region, police captain Andrii Lynnyk and the director of the Center of Special Professional Training “Academy of Police” Mykola Nazarenko addressed the graduates.
All graduates of the “Academy of Police” received corresponding diplomas, which confirm readiness to perform official duties.
12 listeners completed the training, who represented Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.
During the course, they studied tactics of actions of units of police of special purpose during the provision of public (public) safety and order, interaction with other bodies (units) of police, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, the Judicial Protection Service and other state bodies. They improved physical training, tactics of self-defense and personal safety, fire training, studied safety measures when handling explosive devices and explosive substances, etc.
The training ended with the passage of the State Qualification Attestation, which confirmed the high level of training of the listeners.
