Cadets and students of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, veterans, and members of the public took part in the event. The purpose of the campaign was to draw public attention to the nationwide minute of silence.

The campaign was held with the support of the Department of Veterans Policy of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. At several locations across the city, exactly at 9:00 a.m., participants stopped and paid tribute to the Defenders of Ukraine as well as civilians whose lives were taken by russian aggression.

Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs joined the initiative. Together with veterans and concerned residents of the city, they supported the nationwide tradition that unites Ukrainians around shared gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of the country.

The “Stop. Honor.” campaign is intended to remind people of the significance of the daily minute of silence as a symbol of respect for fallen Heroes and civilian victims of the war. Its main goal is to foster a culture of remembrance and awareness of the price Ukraine continues to pay for its freedom.
Participation in the event became another expression of civic responsibility, patriotism, and respect for the sacrifice of Ukrainian warriors among the university’s cadets.
