Upon completion of the training, participants received professional development certificates.
A seminar-training for instructors of higher education institutions within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine has concluded at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. The event focused on the specifics of teaching the disciplines “Special Physical Training,” “Special Physical Training for Police Officers,” “Physical Training,” and “Self-Defense Tactics and Personal Safety.”
The program covered current issues related to the organization of the educational process, improvement of teaching methods, safety during training sessions, prevention of sports injuries, and the provision of first aid.



Separate training modules focused on the application of the use-of-force model, the classification of forceful offender detention techniques, and modern approaches to conducting practical physical training sessions.



The final stage of the seminar included an exit assessment, during which participants demonstrated their level of mastery of the theoretical material. They also conducted trial classes, confirming the professional and methodological competencies they had acquired.




Professional development certificates were presented to the participants by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov.

Such events contribute to enhancing the professional skills of instructors, developing unified approaches to teaching special physical training disciplines, and improving the quality of training for future law enforcement officers.
