Pickleball is a type of sport with a racket, which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Two or four players use solid rackets made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball. This sport combines accessibility, moderate physical activity and dynamic gameplay, which makes it especially popular among people of different ages and levels of physical fitness.

Such events contribute to the popularization of a healthy lifestyle, the development of adaptive and veteran sports, the strengthening of team spirit and social ties between participants. At the same time, they create additional opportunities for physical and psychological rehabilitation of veterans, support their activity and help successful integration into social life.
