With the active support of the university leadership, Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues to implement sports initiatives for veterans, creating opportunities for regular training in a modern gym facility.

The training session was conducted by Artem Hudzenko, Inspector of the Sports Team of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work at DSUIA. The workout program included a set of strength exercises targeting different muscle groups.

Participants performed bench presses, push-ups, and squats, as well as trained on exercise machines designed to develop strength, endurance, and coordination. Particular attention was paid to exercises for the upper body and back muscles, including workouts on cable machines.

Throughout the session, the trainer monitored the technique of each exercise, adjusted the workload according to the physical capabilities of the participants, and provided the necessary recommendations. This approach not only increases the effectiveness of the training process but also minimizes the risk of injury during workouts.

DSUIA emphasizes that systematic physical activity has a positive impact on the overall health of veterans. Regular training helps strengthen the muscular system, restore motor functions, improve concentration, and enhance emotional well-being. Equally important is communication with like-minded people, which helps maintain motivation and promotes the social adaptation of defenders.
Training sessions in the gym are part of the university’s comprehensive efforts aimed at supporting veterans through sport, physical rehabilitation, and the creation of conditions for their successful integration into public life.
