Upon completion of the programme, participants successfully passed the final assessment and were awarded professional development certificates.

The seminar was organized for academic and teaching staff of higher education institutions with specific learning conditions under the authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, as well as higher military educational institutions of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Over the course of several days, participants enhanced their expertise in key areas of modern police professional training. The programme covered contemporary tactical principles governing the application of police measures, advanced operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during service and combat missions, procedures for identifying explosive hazards, high-risk vehicle stop tactics and the operational procedures of small tactical teams. A significant portion of the training was devoted to the MARCH algorithm and practical response procedures for emergency situations, including active shooter incidents.

The seminar concluded with a final assessment, during which participants demonstrated their mastery of the course material and confirmed the professional competencies acquired throughout the programme.

The participants were congratulated on completing the training by Acting Rector of DSUIA, Ihor Mahdalina. He emphasized that continuous professional development of instructors is essential to ensuring the high-quality education of future police officers. Today’s security challenges, he noted, require the constant updating of professional knowledge, the implementation of advanced teaching methodologies and the adoption of unified approaches to delivering profession-oriented disciplines. According to him, initiatives of this kind contribute to the further development of departmental education and help prepare highly qualified professionals for the units of the National Police of Ukraine.

At the closing ceremony, participants received professional development certificates and were presented with a tactical and special training manual.
