Cadets and officers of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) visited Krasnopillia Cemetery to honor the memory of the Defenders of Ukraine, members of volunteer formations, and civilians who were executed, tortured, or died in captivity.
The commemorative event was attended by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, Rector’s Assistant Volodymyr Kovbasa, representatives of the university’s structural units, and cadets.
The participants laid flowers at the graves of the fallen defenders and observed a minute of silence in memory of all those who lost their lives defending Ukraine against Russian aggression. Those present bowed their heads as a sign of profound respect and gratitude for the courage, resilience, and self-sacrifice of Ukraine’s Heroes.
For the university personnel, preserving the memory of the fallen is an important element of patriotic education, fostering an understanding of the price of the nation’s independence and the responsibility owed to those who gave their lives defending Ukraine’s future.
The memory of the heroism and sacrifice of Ukraine’s Defenders will forever remain a foundation of the national unity, resilience, and unwavering spirit of the Ukrainian people.
