The training sessions are held as part of the university’s veteran support program and are aimed at promoting the physical and psychological recovery of the Defenders of Ukraine.

Under the guidance of experienced coach Vasyl Koval, participants refined their playing techniques, practiced serves, returns, and tactical elements, and took part in training matches. Such sessions help improve coordination, reaction speed, endurance, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.

Table tennis is one of the most popular adaptive sports actively promoted at DSUIA. Regular training sessions not only contribute to physical rehabilitation but also provide opportunities for communication, mutual support, and the social reintegration of veterans.
The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) systematically develops its veteran support policy by providing servicemen and veterans with free access to sports, educational, and social initiatives. The University continues to create an environment where veterans can recover, discover new opportunities for personal development, and remain active members of the community.
