The purpose of the training camp is to help students adapt to the specific conditions of education, develop discipline and teamwork, and acquire basic skills necessary for further professional training.

Acting Rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina met with the cadets. He congratulated the young people on the beginning of a new stage and emphasized the importance of a responsible attitude toward their studies, mutual respect, and integrity. Ihor Mahdalina encouraged the cadets to make use of the university’s opportunities for professional and personal development and to actively participate in educational, research, sports, and community activities.

Addressing the cadets, Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, focused on the specific nature of training future police officers. He noted that discipline, integrity, and responsibility should form the foundation of professional development, while diligent acquisition of knowledge and practical skills would ensure readiness for future service.

The event was also attended by DSUIA Vice-Rectors, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov and Serhii Melnyk, Rector’s Assistant Volodymyr Kovbasa, and university officers.


During the training camp, the cadets will become familiar with the organization of the educational process and the internal regulations of DSUIA, improve their physical fitness, and develop teamwork skills. This period is intended to help the new intake adapt to the university environment and prepare for the beginning of their studies.
