The 21st “Vikings Cup” boxing tournament was held on 15–16 August in the city of Kryvyi Rih. Teams from Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Kamianske took part in the competitions.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented at the tournament by a student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education Nazar Koziukov.
The athlete competed in the weight category up to 80 kg and gained a victory over a representative of Kryvyi Rih. According to the results of the competitions, Nazar Koziukov took first place.
Currently, the student of DSUIA is preparing for the all-Ukrainian tournament, which will take place in Vinnytsia. The next sports task for him will be the struggle for the title of Master of Sports.
